You will:
- Build and manage a top caliber development team and oversee the development & project management of Candystand.com as well as some of our top game titles in the studio
- Make technology assessments and evaluations on a variety of initiatives
- Collaborate with the executive team to assess and recommend technologies and support company organizational needs

- Lead and manage internal and external technical teams
Requirements:
- B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Deep technological understanding of LAMP, Flash, Unix, MySQL and Java
- Demonstrable experience writing scalable and efficient code
- Demonstrable experience as an architect of scalable systems, including techniques like sharding, replication, downstream caching, and fault-tolerant designs
- 5+ years experience developing major applications, mentoring teams, and managing projects
- 3+ years of game programming
- 3+ years of PHP or Java programming experience
- 3+ years of Flash/Flex programming experience
- Experience developing and managing production timelines
- Experience designing test plans including load testing, security testing, and functional testing
- Experience creating ERDs, end-user documentation, IT documentation, and system topographies
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the Creative Director, Designers and Producers
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to use cutting edge technology in our market place
